A route is marked around the austrian cultural forum in tehran: a “path of awareness” offering a wide variety of opportunities to investigate the act of walking itself, characteristics of footwear, and the architectural and atmospheric qualities of urban space on particular routes.

The format SchuhzuGehör_path of awareness explores an individual’s personal experience of space through walking, particularly the interplay between sound event (footstep) and surrounding architecture, influenced by the permanently changing interactions.
