SchuhzuGehör_path of awareness untersucht die Selbsterfahrung von Raum wĂ€hrend des Gehens, insbesondere den Wirkungszusammenhang von Klangereignis (Schritt) und gebauter Architektur. Im Rahmen der Ars Electronica 2014 wird in der FestivalCity ein <path of awareness> markiert, der eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten bietet, sich mit dem Gehen an sich, dem Schuhwerk, der FußlĂ€ufigkeit von urbanem Lebensraum und dessen architektonischen sowie atmosphĂ€rischen QualitĂ€ten auseinanderzusetzen.
Die BesucherInnen sind eingeladen ihre »klanglichsten« Schuhe dafĂŒr anzuziehen!

SchuhzuGehör_path of awareness  explores an individual’s personal experience of space through walking, particularly the interplay between sound event (footstep) and surrounding architecture As part of Ars Electronica 2014 a route will be marked in the FestivalCity: a “path of awareness” offering a wide variety of opportunities to investigate the act of walking itself, characteristics of footwear and the walkability of urban space along with its architectural and atmospheric qualities.
For the walk, visitors are encouraged to put on their most “sounding” shoes!
